Triple Zero short-staffed by the Andrews Labor Government
Lives across Victoria are at risk because we don’t have enough operators to answer and manage Triple Zero emergencies.
Reports today indicate that only two Triple Zero operators, covering all four metro channels, are assigned to deal with CFA emergencies.
When lives are at risk, every second counts.
It is unacceptable that Triple Zero emergency calls could go unanswered or be delayed in being answered when lives and property are at risk.
Victoria’s population is growing by around 150,000 every single year and yet we have inadequate staffing levels for handling Triple Zero emergencies.
This is more evidence of the Andrews Labor Government’s war on emergency services which is putting lives and safety at risk.
