Victorians continue to suffer from the impact of the Andrews Labor Government’s health crisis.
The waiting list for vital surgery is continuing to grow, with more than 80,000 Victorians now suffering due the Labor’s mismanagement.
The government’s own officials have admitted they have no plan to clear the backlog, or even a target to work toward.
The waiting list crisis comes at the same time the Labor government has admitted it will take close to two years to see any improvement in the triple zero crisis that’s costing Victorians their lives.
Shadow Minister for Emergency Services Brad Battin said: “This is simply not good enough.”
“The Andrews Government needs to do more now to make sure Triple Zero calls are answered.”
“A cobbled together rescue attempt that the government admits will take months to make any difference is not a real solution.”
“The Premier can pretend this crisis was caused by covid.”
“The reality is it was caused by Labor’s mismanagement of the health system for years leading up to the pandemic.”
“Only a Matthew Guy Liberals and Nationals Government will fix Labor’s healthcare crisis and halve hospital waitlists in our first term.”
