I have the privilege of joining the Liberal Victoria Shadow Cabinet and to work on a positive policy agenda for Victoria’s future.
I will return to join Victorian Liberal Leader Matthew Guy and serve in the roles of:
Shadow Minister for Victoria Police
Shadow Minister for Emergency Services
Shadow Minister for Community Safety and Victim Support and
Shadow Minister for Corrections.
Before entering Parliament, I’ve had the privilege of serving on the frontline with Victoria Police for 6 years in various roles and for two years at HM Prison Won Wron as a corrections officer. It is this experience on the ground that I believe will assist in developing policy and engaging with organisations to ensure our police force and corrections systems are the best in the country.
I look forward to continuing the work in the Emergency Services portfolio, travelling around the state to ensure the voices of all emergency services, including our volunteers, are heard.
Community safety is essential for our state and local communities to thrive, I look forward to working on new initiatives to ensure we have safe and vibrant communities and working with you to make your community safer.
Victims of crime must feel heard and supported, I look forward to regaining this portfolio and continuing to work with victims to see what we as a state can do better, ensuring victims are more supported in our justice system. We must continue to push for a justice system for victims, not a legal system in favour of offenders.
While I look forward to working with a range of stakeholders around the state on positive policies for Victoria within my new roles, my priority remains and always will remain to support the communities who elected me.
